Homemade Salsa

As many of you already know, I  am extremely fond of Mexican food! 

This summer, our little backyard garden yielded quite a bumper crop of beautiful tomatoes which made perfect SALSA!  However, when fresh tomatoes are not available, canned tomatoes along with a few fresh ingredients make a wonderful homemade salsa.

Here is the recipe!

Ingredients:
1-12 ounce can diced tomatoes; drained
1-can Rotel tomatoes; drained (I used mild)
2-cloves fresh garlic
1/2 yellow onion diced
10-12 sprigs of Cilantro 
juice of 1/2 fresh lime
dash salt


Put all ingredients in a food processor/blender and mix well until desired consistency.  Yum and Ole'!!!
